When confronted with the idea to present some of our research finds to an audience we considered a few different options. We wondered whether giving of lecture demonstration of the Polhemus system would be appropriate and decided that this did not seem to show enough the process of attempting that we had been through.
Eventually we decided to take two of the experiment set-ups and expand them; try to give them a theatrical reason to be in front of people. What resulted were two twenty -minute pieces that were played back to back with a ten-minute pause in between to make some technical changes.
As a third presentation example for this website a short excerpt from the dance-performance second is included. The setup is based on an early experiment from time lapses that was modified for the performance.
